My Sampler Piece!

Remember I said I'd have some exciting news?

Featured In The Sampler at 5 Minutes for Mom

Can you believe it??? Remember when I wrote about her piece for The Sampler? I was so inspired and intimidated all at the same time. Then I thought, I'll never know if I don't try.

And shockingly enough, not only did I try but my piece was also accepted!!!

If you're new to my blog from reading The Mom Who Does it All over at 5 Minutes for Mom, welcome!

In honor of my reclining and enjoying The Sampler spotlight at 5 Minutes for Mom all week, I will be giving away a $25.00 Amazon gift card!!! (Winner announced next Friday)

Here's the details : all week long for each comment you leave on a post you earn an entry in the giveaway. Should you happen to comment twice on say, this post - you aren't disqualified.. but you only get one entry for today's. Does that make sense? I am a tired mommy you know.

But comment on all my new posts all week long and you will earn more entries for the Amazon gift card! Just make sure there is a way for me to contact you.

P.S. - let me know what you think of the piece, ok? You earn brownie points ;-)

Hi - I just linked over from 5MM because I loved your post! I think it is so important to be the mom that you want to be. I too had to learn which things are important and not fret so much about all the rest. Thanks for the reminder! =)

Hi! I'm here from 5Min4Mom, I just had to tell you what a great post that was! You are so right about the different mom-nesses, I especially cringe at the thought of being haggard mom for some reason. That one really scares me. I'm too stressed out to be the oblivious one, and I definitely have been my share of angry mom, though mostly in the comfort of my own home or car. Anyway, great post. You are SO right about the lipgloss especially.

Katie, Congratulations! I went over to 5 minutes for Mom and read your article. Great job! I liked the style of writing you used.
I too would love to write something like that. But not sure I am confident enough as a writer, yet.

Great piece, Katie! I'm so proud of you for doing it!
You have a lot of wisdom and I so appreciate the little things you remind us of. Your suggestions, your wit - these things are so refreshing! :)
By the way, I am sooooo entering myself for that Amazon card...hehe.
Love!

Katie, I sincerely LOVED your post! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

And I'm going to try and implement a few of your tips so that I can keep from appearing to be a haggard mom.

Thanks!

hi, I loved your article! I only have two and can barely keep it together. I always vow to do a zillion chores at night yet I drop in an exhausted ball on the couch and get nothing accomplished! :)

What a wonderful post! I think I fall into the trap of trying to do it all, a lot! I'm working on it though! :-) Thanks for the tips!

I found you from 5 Min for Mom, and I'm so glad I did!

I find that doing it all just stresses me out, so I try to take the time to enjoy being a mom... Time goes by too quickly to fret over the small stuff!

I'll be back. :o)

Great job, Katie! I'm so glad you emailed me. My hubby and I took an impromptu end of school trip to SeaWorld and I didn't get to read blogs all weekend.

Your Sampler piece just rocks!

And so do you. Way to go. I feel honored that you were inspired by something I wrote.

Be blessed.
