Make it Fast, Cook it Slow

I have often linked to one of my most frequently visit blog favorites. In fact, I reference Stephanie's blog for my personal use in the kitchen multiple times a week. Recently Stephanie has published her own cookbook which I received last week.

Let me tell you, Make it Fast, Cook it Slow will NOT disappoint you. Filled cover to cover with delicious, easy to make crockpot recipes you will easily utilize your crockpot as a daily kitchen tool instead of a "once in a while" meal assistant.

Our most recently tried recipe from the cookbook was Tamalie Pie, which the kids loved - and so did the weekly grocery budget! Using beans and other canned ingredients, we had leftovers for lunch for very little cost per serving.

I'm telling you, with Christmas coming this is a great gift to give and ask for!

I watched and followed her blog through out the year and couldn't wait for her new cook book. The apricot chicken won't disappoint,- it is truly guest worthy!

Thanks so much for recommending that blog/book. I love the blog now and just got my book in the mail. I asked Brian to go through and post it some recipes that I can try. One of my cousins on my mom's side got me a fantastic All Clad slow cooker for the wedding and I want to use the heck out of it!
