Psalm 143:10 "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground."
I particularly like that verse. Why so much? Because we know from countless verses that if we ask the Lord for wisdom, He gives it to us. I can confidently tell you that if you pray to the Lord that He would teach you to do His will, He most surely will.
I turn to the Lord. I pray "Lord, teach me to do your will." And I usually start writing some things down.
If you feel stressed I would suggest this. Eliminate anything extra you have going on outside of the home, and even some of the extra things in the home. Spend some time with the Lord. Pray that He would show you how to get your days in order and your attitude in check.
I find making a list extremely helpful. Ask the Lord "What are the top 3 things I need to get done today above all else?"
Does this mean that I always get everything done that I want to or needs to be done? Nope! :-)
But when you examine your heart, I think you find the things that are really causing you the stress. (hint : it's not the kids!)

Katie,
Such a good reminder...thank you!
So true :) I have also come to realize as I've had more kids, that getting everything done is not necessary - picking a few that help me feel better are good enough. . . dishes, living room and kitchen floor.
Great insight, so true.
